## Two windows. Always in view.

A 5-hour allowance covers busy stretches. A weekly allowance covers the longer haul. If you reach either one, wait until that window resets, or keep going on extra usage, prepaid credit on the same key. Your panel shows both at a glance.

Usage is counted in tokens, the small pieces of text a model reads and writes. Higher plans buy more room with Sherlock.

## A few good questions.

The useful details, without the fine print.

### What is RedBeard, in plain words?

Private, uncensored AI for code, research, and the hard questions you actually want answered. There's no account and no email: you pay with crypto, you get a key, and we never store what you type.

### How do I get started?

Pick a plan, pay with USDT, and your key opens the moment the payment confirms. Open Chat on this site and start asking, or paste the key into your own tool. No sign-up, nothing to install.

### Can I buy a key right now?

Yes. Choose a plan, pay with USDT, and the key appears the instant your payment is confirmed on the network. Nothing to wait for and no one to ask.

### Do I need an account or an email?

No. Your key is your whole account. That's the point of RedBeard: nothing to sign up for, and nothing that ties the service to your name.

### How do I pay, and why only crypto?

Crypto only, using USDT (a coin that's always worth about a dollar). Crypto is what lets RedBeard stay private: no card, no bank, no email, no record with your name on it.

TechnicalPay on TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, or Ethereum, whichever is cheapest for you. Pay from your own wallet (Trust Wallet, MetaMask, TronLink); we recognise your payment by the address you send from, so don't pay straight from an exchange.

### Do you keep my conversations?

Our gateway and model service never store your messages or answers. We retain usage counters to apply your plan's limits. Sherlock runs on rented GPU infrastructure, so the hosting operator controls the underlying machine. See our verification page for the full scope.

TechnicalThe only thing saved for a key is usage counters, how much has been used and when the window resets. No message content is written to any database.

### Is it really uncensored?

Yes. It's built to answer the difficult questions, for code, research, security work and more, without refusing you or adding a lecture.

### What is Sherlock?

RedBeard's model: uncensored, for code, research, and careful reasoning. Your key reaches it from the chat on this site, from the API, or from your own tools.

### What are the limits, and what happens when I reach one?

Every plan has two windows: a 5-hour one and a weekly one. If you reach either, wait until that window resets, or keep going on extra usage: prepaid credit on the same key, at pay-as-you-go rates, used only once your plan's allowance runs out. Your panel shows exactly how much is left and when. Unused allowance doesn't roll over.

TechnicalUsage is measured in tokens (the small pieces of text a model reads and writes). Higher plans give more Sherlock room: Power is 3× the Starter allowance, Max is 10×.

### What's the difference between the plans?

The room you have to work. Power gives three times the Starter allowance and Max gives ten times, in both the 5-hour and the weekly window. Every plan includes API access and keeps no logs.

### Is there a pay-as-you-go option?

Yes, from $5. Instead of a monthly plan you keep a prepaid balance on your key and pay only for what you use, with no monthly commitment. It works everywhere a plan does: the app, the chat and the API, so it's also the easy way to try Sherlock first. Like it? Put the same key on a plan: whatever credit is left stays on it as extra usage. See the Pay as you go tab above.

### Can I use my own tools?

Yes. RedBeard works with any app that speaks the common OpenAI format, including opencode. Point it at RedBeard, add your key, and go.

TechnicalBase URL https://redbeard.live/v1, model "sherlock". It reads text and images (PNG, JPEG, WebP).

### What is the RedBeard harness?

Our own coding app for working with Sherlock: a branded version of the open-source opencode tool, tuned for our model. Get it for Windows, Mac or Linux from the harness section. It uses Sherlock only. You don't need it: any OpenAI-compatible tool works too.

### Can I get a refund?

No. Crypto payments are final, and a plan runs its full 30 days once your key opens. Try the chat or a small pay-as-you-go balance first if you want to be sure.

### What if I lose my key?

Because there's no account to recover, a lost key can't be brought back, so keep a copy somewhere safe (a password manager is ideal). On the device you bought it on, your browser also remembers it for you.

### How do I know the service is up?

The status page shows the live state of the website, the API and the models, plus uptime over time. If anything is down, you'll see it there.
