# What we keep, and what we don't.

Short version: we never ask who you are, and we don't keep your conversations. The [no-logs proof](https://redbeard.live/verify/) shows how to check it. Last updated 4 November 2026.

## What we never collect

- Your name, email, phone number, or card. There are no accounts, so there is nothing to fill in.
- Your conversations. Our gateway and model service don't store your messages or Sherlock's answers.

## What we keep

- **Keys:** a fingerprint of your key (not the key itself), your plan, how much you've used, when your access ends, any prepaid balance, and how much has been paid onto it in total. The first 8 characters of the fingerprint are your Key ID, which your panel shows so support can find your key without seeing it.
- **Orders:** a payment reference, the amount, whether it's paid, and which key it is for. An order is deleted a day after it's paid, or a week after it was made if it never was, so a late payment can still be put right.
- **Payments put right by hand:** when a payment arrives from a wallet other than the one typed at checkout and support credits it, we keep a record of that sale for our books: when, the amount, the network, the public transaction, and the Key ID it went to. Never the key itself.
- **Hourly totals:** how busy the whole service was each hour, with no key attached. Deleted after about 13 months.
- **Download counts:** how many times each app download started, per hour and file. Nothing about who downloaded: no address, no browser details. Deleted after about 13 months.

That is the whole list. The [no-logs proof](https://redbeard.live/verify/) shows it in detail.

## Payments

You pay in USDT on a public blockchain, where every transaction can be seen by anyone. To match your payment to your order, our payment system reads that transaction, including the wallet address you paid from.

## In your browser

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising, tracking, or analytics: the only count is the download count above, which says nothing about who. Your theme choice, your key, and your chats are kept in your own browser's storage, on your device. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.

## In the RedBeard app

The app (Windows, Mac and Linux) keeps your key in a file in your user folder and saves your sessions on your computer. It sends your work to our server and to no other company: it makes no update checks, model-list downloads, or usage reports elsewhere. When it starts, and every 6 hours while it runs, it asks our server whether a newer version exists; that request carries no key, nothing is kept about it, and a newer version installs itself and is used the next time you start the app. Tools you add to it yourself connect wherever you point them. Uninstalling removes your key; your saved sessions stay until you delete them.

## When Sherlock searches the web

The search words go from our server to search engines such as Google, Bing, Brave, and Yahoo, and pages are read by our server, not your device. The search engines see our server, not you. In the app, a page our server cannot read is tried once from your computer.

## Your internet address

As with any website, your device's internet address reaches our server with every request. It's used to answer you and to slow down attempts to guess keys. Our gateway is set up to write no request log.

## Where it runs

The website and gateway run on a server we rent and run ourselves. Sherlock runs on GPU servers we rent. The computer running Sherlock has to read your words to answer, and the company hosting it controls that machine: the [honest limit](https://redbeard.live/verify/) on the proof page explains what that means.

## Sharing

We don't sell or share data. If the law ever required us to hand something over, what this page lists is all we hold: no conversations, and no names.

## Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The rules for using RedBeard are in the [terms of service](https://redbeard.live/terms/).
